The Gull Lake Recreation Area is near Minnesota's famous Gull Lake chain of lakes. Its known for its well spaced wooded sites, fire rings and many activities--including nearby ice fishing.
This campground is adjacent to Leech Lake in a forested area with 100 year-old oak, elm, maple, and ash trees. Enjoy plenty of hiking and fishing opportunities.

Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest (NHAL) is the largest of the state forests. With 223,000 acres, it offers plenty of natural wilderness, solitude and abundant fishing.
Enjoy picturesque views of the nearby 6,000 acre lake. Activities include hiking, hunting and fishing for walleye, wipers, largemouth bass, catfish, crappie and northern pike.
