In collaboration with the Oneonta Firefighters, the Oneonta Family YMCA provides a day of hands-on firefighting experience for kids ages 4 years old thru 4th grade. Each child is issued a Jr. Firefighter t-shirt and a pizza lunch. During this half day program, children learn to stop-drop-roll, crawl low in smoke and get a chance to practice fire safety skills with actual firemen. Learning fire safety is a priority and the kids also enjoy getting wet and having fun!
10:00 am - 2:30 pm. Graduation Parents are encouraged to attend arriving at 2pm
Ages 4 yrs to 8 yrs. (3rd grade)
$40 member/$60 non member
Registration opens May 23rd thru June 19th.
