We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, July 31, 2021.
Join other outdoor enthusiasts for a guided paddle of the scenic Wisconsin Apple River. Enjoy a relaxing 3 hour downstream kayak trip covering almost 8 miles of a remote stretch of the river.
Meet us at the River Island Park in Star Prairie, WI, where we will shuttle or carpool (Covid rules dependent) to the starting point. There you will receive a paddling and safety overview before we get on the water for our journey to see wildflowers, eagles, and other river life.
Recommended for people with some kayaking/canoeing experience. You must be able to maneuver around downed trees, branches, and some small Class I ripples.
Fee includes single kayak, paddle, life vest, shuttle to start, support throughout the day.
Where: Meet us at the River Island Park in Star Prairie
What to pack: Water, snacks, dress in layers, shoes that strap on and can get wet, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, binoculars, and a dry bag/large Ziploc for your gear.
