Description
Open to adults who have successfully completed Levine’s fall violin/viola or cello technique classes or to anyone who has studied a string instrument for one year or longer and can read music, this fun and relaxed ensemble introduces basic and intermediate techniques of ensemble playing and the thrill of creating music as a group! This spring, participants are meeting on Zoom and using the Cyborg Llama platform to create virtual video collaborations together for their final concert.
Please note: Those students who did not complete Levine's fall beginner or intermediate technique classes must receive prior approval to join from the instructor before enrolling. Students must acquire their own instruments. Levine Music will provide a list of instrument rental locations prior to the start of the session.
For more information or to receive approval to join, please contact Patrick LeStrange, Strings Department Chair, at (202) 686-8000 x1110 or plestrange@levinemusic.org.
