Description
Barre Body - Low Impact - Moderate Intensity
Barre is a great way to tone muscles and burn calories. The ballet barre is used for stability while working through Pilates based exercises - which focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Movements are typically small and easy on the joints, helping to increase strength and flexibility. Mats are also used for targeted core work. (AA)
