What is geocaching? It's a world-wide outdoor adventure game that sends you hunting for hidden 'treasure' in both urban and natural spaces. All you need is a smart phone or GPS unit. This spring, challenge yourself to find 50 temporary caches in parks all over Charlotte. Register by January 30th, then log your finds anytime February 3rd - April 27th; prizes for all that complete the challenge! For more information, call Kevin at 980-314-1210.
Registration required by January 30, 2024; register each person that will log caches (usually adults or older children with their own phone); younger children may participate with a registered adult but do not need to register.
This is a self-guided activity with support from Nature Center staff. You will receive geocache locations and additional instructions after registering.
If you are registering for another program during the time frame of this program, and receive a 'error - conflict' message, call the host center or 980-314-2526 ext 0. to have staff override the conflict.
