SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life) is a FREE exercise and education program for older adults to increase and improve your strength and mobility through walking, stretching and movement exercises. Classes are led by RSVP Program through Volunteers of America. The class utilizes hand weights and resistance bands to work on upper body strength. Participants are encouraged to bring their own weights and bands. If needed, equipment can be borrowed from the park and will be sanitized before and after each class. Class size is limited and will be held in the multi-purpose room with participants spaced at least 6' apart.
Upon registration for this program, participants agree to maintain social distance (6 feet) at all times and adhere to the current Minnesota state face covering mandate. Failure to comply will result in removal from the program.
