Metter Chiropractic Center is holding our 7th Annual Paws for a Cause 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk or Run to raise money for our local animal shelter on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Registration will begin at 8AM with the race beginning at 9AM and 1 Mile Fun Run to follow in front of City Hall in Metter.
Sarah’s 5K was inspired by Dr. Gasiecki’s and Mrs. Jennifer’s dog Sarah, who was found taped inside a Sarah Lee box next to a dumpster when she was a puppy. To date, Paws for a Cause: Sarah’s 5K has raised over $11,500 for the shelter. It is our hope that this event will not only raise money to help provide for the sheltered pets, but also help some of Sarah’s friends find a forever home.
This race will be open to everyone, and we also welcome runners to bring their dogs to run/walk with Sarah.
