Description
Join us for a hiking adventure as participants in 1-6 grade explore nature's playgrounds at Silly Mountain. Trails are beginner level and participants should be able to walk on rough and elevated terrain for 2-3 hours with a few breaks. Any spare time will be filled with activities such as mini games or icebreakers. Please wear hiking boots or closed-toe athletics shoes and bring a backpack with plenty of water to drink, sunscreen and hat. A light snack will be provided but you may also bring your own. Participants will need to be dropped off and picked up at the parking lot at the base of the mountain. This is a drop off event only and parents/spectators/siblings will not be able to attend. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: Our goal is to keep your kids active in sports while following the CDC guidelines for safety. *Participants must wear a face mask during check in, check out, breaks and restroom use. They are encouraged to wear a face mask while hiking. *Staff will be required to wear a face mask while interacting with others. *Participants must be able to function independently in a small group setting with their peers. *Participants must be able to follow the physical distancing protocol of 6 feet or greater which also includes refraining from high-fives, handshakes, and other physical touching. *The hike will provide frequent cleaning procedures to disinfect hands, surfaces and equipment. *Youth Sports administration has the right to change these policies at any time based on CDC, government, and department policies and recommendations.
