- ARE YOU READY FOR A NEW CHALLENGE????
- There will be navigation, trekking (running or hiking), mountain biking, and canoeing/kayaking for the 12 HOUR COURSE ONLY. There may also be surprise challenges for ALL courses. The team that completes all the checkpoints (or more than other teams) with the fastest time will win the race.
- There will be several checkpoints that are mandatory (transition areas), but most are not.
Event details and schedule
The 6 Hour course will be approximately 25 miles on the bike, 5-8 miles on foot! (no paddling section this year!) This is the PERFECT course for newbies and veterans alike! This course will have an "urban" race feel while racing through the beautiful city of Manhattan! The 12 hour course will be 45 miles on bike, 10-12 miles on foot, canoes TBD! Both routes will include biking on asphault, and gravel, and singletrack. Running will be all types of terrain, and the paddling will be flatwater(lake) or slow flowing river. This course will be a CHALLENGE FOR ALL RACERS! Registration INCLUDES: Race day insurance, maps, canoes/kayaks, pfds, paddles, embroidered beanie, post race snacks or meal, finish prize. Awards for teams/solos in 1st, 2nd, 3rd of divisions. (Divisions are: SOLO (male and female) 2 PERSON TEAMS (female, male, coed) 3/4 PERSON TEAMS ( female, male, coed) for all courses! BOTH COURSES WILL RECIEVE POINTS FOR USARA RANKINGS!
