About this event

Description

We're sorry, but this course is over. The last meeting was Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

Learn the basics of working on the pottery wheel from how to prepare your clay and begin with the wheel to glazing and decorating processes. Clay users in this class will learn how to make forms such as cylinders, mugs, and bowls. Participants will have out of class time to practice and grow in their techniques.

Enrollment includes 10 lbs. of clay and free use of the studios during the class as well as 2 weeks after the class ends. Tool sets, additional clay and other materials will be available for purchase at Wheelhouse Studios.
Abigail focus largely on creating functional forms that often mimic the shapes, textures, and colors found in nature. She has taught ceramics courses to a variety of skill levels and exhibits her work locally.
