Join naturalist Katrine Dickau for some easy-paced fitness walks around Beaver Brook and other local trails. Enjoy a guided walk covering ~ 3 miles each day. Learn new trails, meet new hiking companions and see what nature has to offer. Participants need be able to walk at a pace of about 2 mph. Microspikes or icetreads necessary. We can supply snowshoes if conditions permit. We have some loaner ice treads also. $68/ $61 members of BBA. (for 17 week session) Walks will take place unless risky travel weather exists. Everyone participating in Beaver Brook programs must follow these guidelines: 1. Everyone must meet with a face mask. his will be worn when meeting in a circle but may be removed during hiking. 2. Space yourself 6' from others. Try to walk single file. 3. Leader will have handwipes and sanitizer. 4. Participants must read and answer a COVID questionnaire prior to class.
