Join Effingham College & Career Academy Student Council's annual Miles in Style 5k charity event! This is a themed race that is open to all- walkers and runners alike. Our theme this year focuses on the nostalgia of better days gone by, so join us in a tribute to your favorite decade! Gather up your best poodle skirts and leather jackets or Greek toga- all decades are fair game. A portion of our proceeds will benefit Family Promise of Effingham County. Help us to transform the lives of the families in our community.
The race takes place on a scenic route perfectly shaded under large pines and beautiful live oaks. The course takes you on a loop of historic Honey Ridge Farms winding through lush greenery providing you with a perfectly peaceful and scenic route. The route is not paved, but will be free of large obstacles and is completely stroller and pet-friendly. All registrations after Sunday, April 4, 2021, may not be guaranteed a race t-shirt. However, online registrations will remain open until Thursday, April 22, 2021.
Event details and schedule
Packet pick-up will begin on-site on race day at 7:30 am. Free parking is available, please see signs upon arrival. We will be observing social distancing prior to the event, so please wear your masks!
