Let's focus on those knife skills and some delicious ways to use them! Participants will learn basic cuts including dices, julienne, mince, chiffonade, batonnet, and bias cut. We will also teach the proper way to cut a variety of fruits and veggies including onions, avocado, pineapple, garlic and mango. We will also discuss the different types of knives and sharpening. Bringing your own knives is optional, but encouraged. We will prepare a delicious Asian Chicken & Kale Salad with Peanut Vinaigrette, Hawaiian Salsa and Classic Chunky Guacamole.
