Maybe you've heard about barre and it's awesome benefits? You may also have heard that it's super hard and you need to have dance experience. Not true! This is a great way to bring a little barre into your life in a safe non-judgemental zone. You will have fun and feel GREAT after this hour class. Promise! No experience needed.
This beginner barre class combines elements of pilates, yoga and ballet and is low impact. Movements are modified and suitable for adults 55 and older, but anyone over 18 is welcome! Small isolated movements performed in class decrease pressure on your joints, tendons, ligaments and spine by improving core strength, balance and posture. Every class will leave you feeling empowered, strengthened and invigorated.
If you have a yoga mat feel free to bring it along as well as a water bottle. Please dress comfortably.
Mask requirements: Safety is our first priority. Everyone will be asked to mask when entering the building and during class. We appreciate your cooperation.
