About this event
Each ensemble will meet on a regular schedule with their CYE Director. During this time, each ensemble will rehearse up to two pieces, grow their section skills, and develop their ensemble’s sound. The semester will conclude with a live-virtual concert showcasing the works each ensemble prepared. Additionally, each student will be placed in a second class with others who play the same instrument at a similar level. These DSO musician led studios are a collaborative and supportive environment to inspire and enhance your weekly routine of private lessons and ensemble rehearsals by providing invaluable opportunities to perform for your peers, receive feedback, learn about pedagogy, and gain experience in offering your own effective and supportive criticism.
