Coordination and refinement of strokes. Skills: shallow-angle dive from the side then glide and begin a front stroke, tuck and pike surface dives - submerge completely, front flip turn and backstroke flip turn while swimming, front and back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, breaststroke, sidestroke and butterfly, sculling, learn to look carefully before entering the water, learn what to think about and do when exhausted or caught in a dangerous situation, learn to perform simple nonswimming assists, learn about recreational water illnesses and how to prevent them, learn how to call for help and the importance of knowing first aid and CPR, and learn basic safety guidelines for participating in aquatic activities at waterparks.
A participant who wishes to transfer to a different swim lesson class (level up or down, session or time change) will be charged a $10.00 processing fee. A request to transfer must be done at least 5 business days prior to the first day of the lesson, as long as there is room available in the class.
A participant who wishes to cancel will be charged a $10.00 processing fee and must cancel at least 5 business days prior to the first day of the lesson in order to receive a refund.
Credit card refunds will be issued back to the original card on file. All cash and check payments will be refunded via check within 30 days to the address on file.
