Grab your family and friends and join us for the 3rd Annual Paladin Pacer 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, February 26th!
About this race: The Paladin Pacer allows all in our community to get some exercise, qualify for the 2022 Peachtree Road Race, interact with our community and make new friends! Our plan is for this event to become a long-standing tradition in Forsyth County.
All funds raised will benefit Pinecrest Academy's Annual Fund, which supports our current and future students.
We are pleased to offer the options to run on-site or as a Ghost Runner.
Event details and schedule
Early Packet Pick Up Times:
Friday February 25, 2022
Off campus – At Totally Running, 405 Peachtree Pkwy (across from The Collection) from 11:00am – 6:00pm.
Race day packet pick up Saturday February 26, 2022 – starting at 7am inside of the lower school gym.
Race Day Parking:
Parking will be available on campus until 7:30am. MUST PLAN TO STAY UNTIL AFTER FUN RUN (9:45) IF YOU PARK ON CAMPUS YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE.
All cars will be re-directed to Shiloh Point Elementary School (8145 Majors Rd. Cumming, GA 30041) parking lot starting at 7:30am. Turn in the first drive to the school from 141 and park behind the schools. That will be the shuttle bus location.
There will be a Pinecrest Bus to shuttle runners and their families to the entrance of Pinecrest Academy. Due to the course route and safety concerns for our runners, we are unable to allow cars into the campus while the 5k and Fun Run are occurring. The bus will drop off runners and cheering spectators at the entrance of the Pinecrest campus off of 141/Peachtree Pkwy. The runners and spectators will have to walk down the driveway to reach the start/ finish line by the upper school gym. So plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before the event you are running or cheering for so you have plenty of time to catch the bus!
RACE START TIMES :
5K - 8:00am
Fun Run - 8:55am
COST:
5K - $25.00 until February 11th @ 11:59pm then $30.00
Race Day Cost - $35.00
Fun Run - $15.00
Race Day Cost - $20.00
Teams - $20.00 per person until February 11th @ 11:59pm - team captain should register team members with a minimum of 5 runners on a team.
Ghost Runner - $30.00
RACE DAY REGISTRATION/PACKET PICKUP:
You may pick up your bib on race day, starting at 7:00am, in the Pinecrest Academy Lower School Gym (building to the right of the roundabout), located at 955 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, GA 30041.
AWARDS:
Overall Male/Female and top 3 Male/Female in each age group: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and Up.
COURSE:
Course runs from Pinecrest Academy onto SR141 to Sharon Road, then U-turns at the Kroger entrance and returns to Pinerest Academy with a downhill finish!
T-SHIRTS:
All participants registered by Monday, February 14th will receive a race t-shirt. Registrations on or after Tuesday, February 15th will be subject to availability of shirts and will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
