This program is an introduction to writing code using an Arduino microcontroller. Students will be instructed in developing code that interfaces to electronic sensors and controlling applications such as sound generation, motor and lighting control. Each participant will experiment with applications and develop their own code to control various devices. In addition, students will be instructed in basic programming concepts using supplied laptops and the Arduino kits. Students will keep the Arduino kit for future development. All tools and batteries are supplied.
