Come join other runners to discover the forest at night, meet new friends and enjoy local trails. Run lengths will be 3-5 miles throughout this nine-week series. Run times will vary based on location. Trail syllabus will be provided before the first class. Class designed for people who can comfortably run two miles. Bring headlamp and weather appropriate gear. Instructors will provide more guidance on gear, safety and fitness throughout the series. We will be following all forest guidelines and curfews. Rob Swan, our experienced instructor, has been trail running for 41 years and teaching Beginning Trail Running since 2016. He is an ultra-marathoner and has logged hundreds of miles at night in the forest. With his background in university-level teaching, Robert has been able to successfully combine the two things he loves most: teaching and trail running.
