Event details and schedule

The 2026 NECTC West Point Duathlon is a duathlon consisting of a 2.5 km run, 25 km bike, and 5 km run.  This race is restricted to only college athletes from colleges associated with the Northeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (NECTC). Contact the NECTC Commissioner, Amy Maxwell, for information on inclusion in the NECTC. Both running legs are within Camp Buckner at the United States Military Academy. The route is generally shaded along paved roads with rolling terrain.  The bike is along HWY 293 with rolling terrain and includes three climbs and the associated descents for each. Cyclists will race in the shoulder of HWY 293 as the course is not closed to traffic for the race.  The shoulder is the width of a normal vehicular traffic lane.  The race will begin on Sunday  March 2026 at 1300 hours (1 PM).  Packet pickup will open at 1130, and transition area will also open at 1130.
