Description
What is Cryptology? In short, cryptology is protecting your communications while reading your adversaries (supposedly secure) communications. This course will review American Cryptology from its beginnings during the American Revolution through the remarkable cryptologic achievements during the Second World War.This session will address the World War 2 years, where efforts to defeat the Axis Powers machine encrypted communications, while protecting U.S. communications, contributed significantly to the eventual Allied victory.
