Join this mixed-media, process-oriented workshop to explore the creation of “paper fodder” -- hand-decorated papers filled with vibrant patterns and rich textures. Using simple stamping, printmaking, and painting techniques, build a library of uniquely designed papers that can later be used to create abstract collages and mixed-media artworks. Experiment with Gelli plates, stamping tools, and handmade implements to develop your own marks, patterns, and color palettes. This class encourages creative exploration, color play, and community, offering plenty of opportunities to create, share, and build a personal collection of collage-ready papers for future projects. In addition to making paper fodder, create small-format collages and a handmade art book to document and reference your work. Materials included in registration fee.
