About this event
All aboard for the exciting MORE Summer program of 2026! Following the traditional formula of five classes/five events, this year’s Summer edition features seven all-new entries plus three others updated and brought back by popular demand. You can choose among entries including local history, science and nature, and automotive history – plus special events like a group outing to see baseball and UWM Field! Of course the Summer session ends with the traditional MORE picnic – this time at lovely George George Park in Mt. Clemens. The picnic is combined with a visit to the nearby Transit Museum; in preparation for that excursion, historian David Webb will conduct a class on regional inter-urban railroads. Not only that, character actor-historian Mike Woloszyk will present aspects of Thomas Edison’s life, including his experience on the very transit line we will be visiting! Plus – in store as well are oft-requested return tours of Stahl’s Automotive Museum and the College Fire Academy. Registrations Choices Basic class and event Package choices: • Three classes and/or events: $33 • Five classes and/or events: $50 • Seven classes and/or events: $63 Surcharges for specific package additions: • Extra class or event, only: $10 • Stahls tour donation: $ 5 • Baseball event, includes food and beverage: $30 • Nature Center donation: $ 5 • Picnic and Transit Museum Tour $25 For assistance with registration, please contact Mandy Carpenter at (586) 226-4903 or MORE@macomb.edu.
