About this event

Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Friday, February 26, 2021.

For participants ages 13 and up, with disabilities.

Thinking about trying a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) program? Join me and give Strong Nation a try! Created by the same company that developed Zumba, this 30 minute program to some of today's best music will help you move through a series of exercises - don't worry it involves no dancing or weights. All you'll need is water, a mat and a positive attitude. We're starting with the lowest intensity to build our foundation of movement. For more information, contact TRInfo@MeckNC.Gov or 980-314-1192

A yearly therapeutic recreation assessment is required for registration. If the error "Missing PreRequisite: Customer qualification missing or expired for Skill TIRS Assessment Verified" appears when attempting to register, please contact staff at TIRS TRinfo@MeckNC.Gov or 980-314-1192 to schedule a therapeutic recreation assessment.

To avoid music licensing issues, Strong Nation has its own funky fresh platform called SYNC Studio! Once you register, you’ll be sent an email from Danielle Dobbs-Jackson (Zumba Instructor) with the link to the class - you will get a new link each week. It’s really no sweat. When it’s class time, click the link, sign in with an email (opt out of the newsletter…unless you really want it) and come work out to some great music!
