Description
Foster your budding creativity with the basics of oil painting. New painters experience the joy of oil painting while learning the basics. Learn to "see" like an artist. Think and practice through hands-on experience as you translate the 3D world into a 2D painting.

Boards available Home Deport, Low’s) HB pencil 4B pencil Newsprint paper 14”x11”.Smooth preferred Kneaded eraser 1 Sharpener (or utility knife) 8-10 canvas panels size 14" x 11" (no canvas papers or pre-stretched. Only canvas panels please) 2-3 of 6”x8” canvas panels for color testing White paper towel roll 1 Large wood/metal/glass palette (for oil paints). If wooden, season with any vegetable/canola oil, work into wood prior to first class 1 Turpentine of 16 oz or bigger: Note: Only Gamblin Gamsol. No industrial or other brands of turpentine or spirits are allowed in class 1 Palette knife #2 or #3/ metal sharp (not round) blades- not plastic 1 medium glass or metal jar/container Oil paints: 60ml each or more / paints set are fine Titanium White, Ultramarine blue Raw Umber or burnt Umber, Burnt sienna Raw sienna, Ivory black Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium deep red Yellow Ocher, Sap Green Paints: Blick’s brand is good per price.
