Welcome to BCIT Competitive 4v4 Floor Hockey Intramurals!

This is a Competitive 4v4 Floor Hockey League for current BCIT students and staff that offers 6 regular season games and up to 2 playoff games!

How it Works

Games are played full-court and consist of two officiated 20-minute periods. All teams must have minimum of 6 players to ensure substitutions. Please note, this is a structured league that requires teams to commit to playing on a weekly basis. All players are expected to understand the rules to floor hockey prior to joining the league - rules can be found on our website at bcit.ca/recreation.

This league is team registration only. Team Captains will be given the option during registration to share their contact information with other players who are looking for a team.

Equipment

All floor hockey equipment will be provided to league players, including pinnies, player/goalie sticks and protective goalie equipment (includes: chest protector, leg pads, blocker, glove and helmet). Personal hockey sticks are not permitted, no exceptions.

Cost

• 20% Off Earlybird Price (January 26 - February 2, 2026: $18.40 + tax per player
• Regular Price (Applies on and after February 3, 2026): $23.00 + tax per player

Pre-Season Meeting

Team Captains are required to attend Floor Hockey Drop-in on Monday, February 2nd at 5:30pm to review league expectations with BCIT Rec Staff.

Important League Dates

• Pre-Season Meeting (Mandatory - see note above): Monday, February 2 at 5:30pm in the SE16 Gymnasium (back half)
• Game Days: Weekly on Mondays from February 9 - April 27, 2025 (CANCELED: March 2, 9 & April 6)
• Playoff Dates: April 20 & 27
• Game Times: 5:30pm, 6:30pm and 7:30pm
