We're back in beautiful Historic Buford! 

Get ready to dash through December at the Reindeer Run 5K & 10K—a festive winter favorite bringing runners, walkers, families, and holiday enthusiasts together for a spirited day of fun! Whether you’re lacing up for the quick 5K or taking on the lively 10K, this race is the perfect way to celebrate the season with movement, cheer, and a little reindeer magic.

Every participant will cross the finish line and receive a custom finisher award, created just for this year’s event. And for those with a competitive spark, we’ll also be recognizing the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups, beginning with 10 & under—all the way up through our most seasoned runners.

For those that are only up for a 1-mile stroll, we have the Fun Run, which will include a finisher medal.

With a joyful atmosphere, festive energy, and distances for all levels, the Reindeer Run is the perfect way to kick off your holiday celebrations. So, bundle up, bring your best holiday spirit, and come dash with us at the Reindeer Run 5K & 10K!

Course & Timing

Water Stations:

We will have Self-Serve water stations approximately every 1.5 miles. If you are wanting to run fast and not stop, you might want to bring your own personal hydration.

 

We're in North Georgia, and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast.  However, this course if most definitely one of the flattest and fastest course we've got! The 5K is one loop & the 10K is a double loop.

Still want to participate or support the cause and have a shot at an award? Or, maybe you saw the shirt and said:  "Sweet...I want one!"  Then, the virtual race is for you.  Run when & where you want, just submit your time by end of Race Day.  We'll ship out virtual packages the Monday after event date! *Shipping available for continental US only.

Download your Custom Digital Bib!  Hydrate and get ready to get moving!

Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want.   Please remember to be safe!

Submit your results directly on RunSignUp.com through your Profile or registration.

You can submit your race time HERE on the Virtual Results page anytime until 12/21/24, 11:59PM.

Five Star Championships & Turkey Trot

This will be the last opportunity for you to qualify for our Championship 5K/10K on January 8, 2025.  This will also be one of the first opportunities to qualify for (1) complimentary entry into one of our Turkey Trots for 2025!

All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2025 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots. See event website.

Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the Championships held on January 7, 2026. The number of spots available is based on the total registration.  See event website

Event Courtesy Policy & Refund Policy

Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be immediately disqualified, asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.

Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants; there are no refunds in this case.

Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.

No COVID-19 Refunds.

We always do packet pickup on race morning starting one hour prior to the start of the race.  If we have an early pickup available, it will be added here.
