Join us for our online class for Fit After 50!
This class is developed through a partnership with the Office of Aging in Riverside County to assist Seniors in maintaining strength, mobility and function. Exercises will focus on strengthening the upper and lower body, help improve balance and flexibility, restore strength, and increase independence.
Best Location at Home: An open area (nothing to knock off the walls or tables/chairs to hit).
What to Bring: If you have the following equipment at home please bring it to the class. If you do not have the equipment, we will work around it, no need to purchase anything.
- Wear your sneakers or closed toed shoes
- Sturdy chair
- Elastic Stretch bands
- Water
The class will take place on the ZOOM platform, the class link/ Zoom information will be on your receipt after registering for the class.
There will be no class held on the 11th and 27th of November.
We will use Zoom, an online video conferencing service, to bring programs to you while our community centers are closed due to COVID-19. As a reminder to participants, parents & guardians; participants will be on a live video conference that may be recorded. Please read through the following guidelines to assist in maintaining a safe experience for everyone.
- You will receive a registration receipt with the Zoom Meeting ID and pass-code.
- You should NOT need to set up a Zoom account or input any information EXCEPT for the student’s first name and last initial.
- The meeting will be live and interactive.
These sessions may be recorded for viewing by students who were unable to attend the session or for the attending students to take the class again on another day of the week.
