About this event
Ocean Engineers design and build structures, equipment, and instruments which advance our understanding of marine science. In this program, participants become ocean engineers who get to design and build their own model of a submarine that will be used to solve an underwater crisis. Participants will learn to operate their submarines and discover how natural laws like Archimedes’ Principle and natural forces like gravity, the buoyant force, and water pressure can be applied throughout their project.
