About this event
Sumi-e Ink Drawing is for students interested in learning about traditional Japanese ink drawing. Students learn the basic strokes and techniques to create drawings that are intended to capture the essence of an object more than naturalistic representation. This class is held in person. Supply List • Black India Ink • Red ink or Watercolor • 3 Small, sealable glass or plastic containers • Water Container • Bamboo Reed Drawing Pen(s) • Sumi-e Calligraphy Brushes (3 sizes) • Rice Paper Sheets - or - Mixed Media Paper, at least 14x17
