NOTE: Class skips September 27 BEGINNER LEVEL This fall our floor loom class will be exploring color and pattern using Log Cabin, a way to alternate light and dark threads to create patterns of horizontal and vertical lines. Log Cabin uses plain weave but the results are anything but plain. Students will learn how to plan their projects and explore countless opportunities using simple sequences of light and dark threads. Supplies for beginners are included in the registration fee. Intermediate and advanced students should be prepared to bring in their own yarns. All students may use our class supplies if they pay the beginner fee. Instructor: Teresa Edmisten Location: Weaving Studio (Upstairs of Carriage House) Class time: Tuesdays, 6:30 - 9:00 PM For the health and safety of Callanwolde instructors, students, and staff, we have the following Covid safety protocols in place: - OPTIONAL masking for those that certify their vaccination status. - MANDATORY masking for those who wish to not disclose vaccination status. - Acceptable masks are surgical, cloth, or N-95/KN-95. When you complete your registration, your confirmation email will have a link to a vaccine verification form. You do NOT need to complete the form if you certified your status for the Winter 2022 quarter. Callanwolde Fine Arts Center employees who have access to vaccination information are required to keep this information confidential and secure.
