Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, August 5, 2020.

Calling all young survivalists in the making! Join us for a class all about primitive skills needed to survive and thrive in the wild. Explore sensory awareness, search for hidden “critters” with a camouflage game, and learn how to track. Discover how to make a fire with a bow drill, and even create your very own plaster track cast to bring home with you! $7 per participant for ages 7 and up. Any attendee over 7 is considered a participant. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the nature center. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PREREGISTER.

Please be aware that social distancing guidelines will be followed, and participants are encouraged to bring and wear facemasks during the program. If you are sick or exhibiting any symptoms, please call the nature center at 703-528-5406 and we will cancel your registration and issue you a full refund.
