Grade 8 - Adult. This introductory drawing class helps you learn to see the world with an artist’s eye and capture your observations on paper. Through instructor demonstrations and hands-on drawing projects, you will build fundamental drawing skills and practice techniques such as shading, tonal control, composition, perspective, and drawing methods. The instructor will also introduce key visual elements—including line, shape, value, space, and texture—to help you strengthen your work. Instructor: Nancy Lybrink. 8 classes. No class 10/6, 11/3, and 11/17.
Supply list:
- Paper -9 x 12 Strathmore drawing paper, 300 or 400 series) is a good brand but there are many out there.
- Pencils 2H, HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B, EBONY
- Kneaded eraser
- Ruler
- Paper blenders
- Sharpener manual or electric
- Sandpaper or sandpaper pointer
- Charcoal - hard sticks 2
