In 2009, I had a wonderful club team. They were ranked No.1 in our region the entire year, went on to win our region bid tournament, and thus qualified for Junior Nationals in Miami.
Well, one of our liberos has had some questions about corresponding with college coaches. She texted me, "I don't know what to email to a coach." I told her that I'd send her a sample correspondence to use as a template.
If you wish, you can use this as well. Hope it helps.
Dear Coach X:

I've been playing school volleyball since 7th grade, and club volleyball since 8th. My school coach is _____ and my club coach is Tom Houser. I'd like to visit your school sometime this spring or summer, stay on campus for while and possibly meet you. Can you let me know when is convenient time for you?
I'm really looking forward to hearing from you.
Have a great weekend!
Maybe this is too long. Maybe you don't need the class & GPA stuff. But if it's good, I'd include it. If your GPA is really good, I really recommend you include it.
Let me know what you think.
