DRILL DESCRIPTION: Set up on both sides of the net. Each side must have one person serving a ball to the other side. There should be two passers on each side of the net, one in the serve-receive spot for left front, and the other in the serve-receive position for left back. The server should rotate serving to each passer who will pass the ball to the setter at right front. The setter will then set the ball to a catcher who is pretending to be an outside hitter. Every two minutes have the setters and catchers switch. Every four minutes have the setters become passers and the passers become servers. After twelve minutes switch sides of the court for added practice. Use three passers, all in the back row (left, middle, and right). You may wish to rotate at faster intervals than the previous drill.
