4th of July 5K Freedom Run/Walk

Join the Kick Cancer for Stephen Foundation to support research and find a cure for childhood cancers by signing up for a fun 5K in Tucson. Each year the race is held at a different Tucson landmark, with this year's race being held at the Golf Links Sports Complex. The run will take place along a secluded bike path and through parks of the surrounding area. Refreshments will await you at the finish to reward your efforts.
Lexington, Kentucky - July 4, 2014 2 of 10
This certified 10,000-meter course is flat and fast, which means you'll have more time to barbecue once the festivities conclude. The race is a one-loop out and back through the main business district and historical section of Lexington. The top runners and wheelchair participants will win a 500-dollar cash prize.
Avery Brewing Company Company's Four on the fourth 4K

If you're looking for a good brew, this is the race for you. Avery will provide the beer and Front Range will serve a post-race breakfast. If you happen to be contesting for the overall win, you'll get your weight in beer as a trophy—if you're 21 or older.

Run with your friends at Mallery Park on St. Simons Island on a flat asphalt track through a quiet residential neighborhood that swings by the pier. In addition to supporting the local area high school track teams with equipment through its fundraising, this race also features a team competition, with the group with the most members receiving a special award.

This 55th Annual 4th of July race is run on a unique 4.47-mile point-to-point course featuring fast downhill sections and only a few gradual inclines down historic Main Street. The course is certified under USA Track and Field and will be lined with an enthusiastic crowd. Race proceeds benefit 32 Summer Program Scholarships and other special programs within the Hingham Recreation Commission.
