This race meets every multi-sport athlete's interests. Races include open water lake swimming, single track and fire road mountain bike trails and more.
With a full and half marathon, relay, 10K, 5K and a kid's fun run, this festival is a must for active families. Race organizers call it "the most beautiful 26 miles, 385 yards you'll ever run."
You'll start out going about 200 feet over the first 1.5 miles past the scneic Occoquan River and once you hit the halfway mark for the 5K course, you'll turn around and run downhill. 10K-ers will do this twice.
One of the most popular camping-friendly races, Wildflower is a must-do event. Just a short walk from the festival area and race start, the campground adds flavor and fun to an already festive atmosphere.
