Fall may still be a few weeks away, but the best time for apples is now.
Here are a few of our favorite apple recipes from the feedfeed community so you can put your apple-picking bounty to good use.
Apple "Nachos" with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Drizzle1 of 4

This quick and clever snack is perfect for when you need a boost of protein and something sweet. The chocolate drizzle is made with just three ingredients; peanut butter, coconut oil and chocolate protein powder. As for the toppings, feel free to get creative.
Our own @thefitforkfeed likes to add coconut flakes, hemp hearts and chocolate chips.
Baked Oatmeal with Apples, Maple Syrup and Hazelnuts2 of 4
Photo and recipe by @sasha.swerdloff via thefeedfeed.com.
What's more comforting than a warm bowl of oatmeal? These oats are baked which gives them a chewy texture with tasty, caramelized edges, similar to an oatmeal cookie (but much healthier).
There are chopped apples baked into the oatmeal, as well as sliced apples on top for double the apple goodness.
Apple Cinnamon Oat Pancakes3 of 4
Photo and recipe by @livingminnaly via thefeedfeed.com.
These pancakes are made from oats and applesauce, so you can feel good about indulging. To make your own applesauce at home, peel and chop up about six apples and add them to a medium saucepan with a cup of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for about 25-30 minutes.
Mash with a fork and season with cinnamon or spices of choice.
