Description
Prepare your dog to provide comfort to people in hospitals and schools through therapy dog work. Prerequiste skills include beginning skills sit, down and stay. Class consists of intermediate commands such as sit/down stay with duration/distractions, recall, leave it, heeling and exposure to medical equipment. Therapy dog test and CGC given on week 6. Dogs must be at least 1 year old. Full vaccine record required. Separate fee for certifications.A material fee of $20 is payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
