103 - CQB - Diminished Light Most attacks occur at night or in diminished light conditions. Isn't it time you learned how to fight at night with your firearm?!? ​This 6 hour course is designed for the use of handheld lighting tools, weapon mounted lights and lasers. This course will have a classroom portion to learn about lighting conditions, how the eyes work in diminished light, lighting tools, night sights, lasers, pros and cons of all the different types of sighting systems used in diminished light and much more. As with our CQB courses, we will use the crawl, walk, run method of teaching, working a corner or a doorway then a room and hallway. We will use multiple obstacles, cover and concealment as well as multiple rooms to show you how to use a lighting tool in these spaces. ​The class practical exercises will consist of lit conditions, diminishing light, no light, flashlights, ambient light and Force on Force scenario training. Scenarios will include home defense concepts, Active shooter engagement, hunting the threat, multiple threats, 360* security. Raise your stress levels in a safe training environment and learn to win a high stress, dangerous, rapidly evolving circumstance. You will be constantly wondering where the threats are coming from and trying to use your skills and tactics to win the fight. The entire training course will have you working angles on the bad guys to win the fight. We will use full force on force safety gear, UTM/Simunition and training weapons. All in various lighting conditions including full dark! You will need long pants and long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt Course cost is $250.00 This course is held at our training academy using our indoor structure in a climate controlled environment Prerequisites - This course is for the experienced handgun user. Student must be proficient with handling a firearm. You should have completed 101 and 102 - CQB classes to be up to speed for this course.
