Ceramics: Kitchenware (6 sessions) Highschool - Adult | Beginner - Intermediate Instructor: Audrey McCutchen Wednesdays, June 3 – July 15 (NO Class 6/24 /NO Open Studio 6/22-6/27) 6:00pm – 9:00pm In this class we will be making a variety of ceramic tools, utensils, and containers you will be able to use in your kitchens at home! We will explore forms such as berry colanders, citrus reamers, mixing bowls, spoon rests, and butter bells. Students can choose to focus on either wheel throwing or handbuilding; wheel throwing projects will require prior experience, as wheel instruction will not be a focus of the class. Everything will be dishwasher/microwave safe, but not oven safe. There will be projects for both beginner and intermediate students. Your first bag of clay, studio glazes, tools, and 20 hours of studio time outside of class are included in the class fee. Please note Saturday open studio hours will be included this term.
