Altered Wheel Thrown Pottery (Tuesday PM) (6 sessions) Adult | Intermediate Instructor: Stacey Besst Tuesdays, June 2 – July 14 (NO class 6/23 /NO Open Studio 6/22-6/27) 6:00pm – 9:00pm Join us for a 6-week pottery wheel class for making and altering ceramic pieces. We will make, cut, distort, hand-shape, alter and add to common wheel thrown forms to make unique pottery. We will use various types of clays/slips, and sodium silicate to add texture. Students should feel comfortable with the basics of wheel throwing. Your first bag of clay, studio glazes, tools, and 20 hours of studio time outside of class are included in the class fee.
