Adventures in Hand Papermaking and Pulp Painting (2 sessions) Adult | All Skill Levels Instructor: Ron Shaull Thursday, May 28 & Friday, May 29 10:00am – 5:00pm In this 2-day, hands-on workshop, learn how to transform natural plant fibers into flat sheets of beautiful paper using ancient Western papermaking methods – from pulping and sheet forming, to pressing and drying. Master a mould and deckle and explore artistic techniques such as lamination, veils, inclusions, pigmenting, pulp painting and stenciling. Create a stack of handmade paper to use as one-of-kind stationery and cards, or make unique material suitable for framing, bookmaking, printmaking, origami, collage and other visual arts.
