Join us for a 90-minute walking tour of the Old Joliet Prison led by docents and trained tour guides from the Joliet Area Historical Museum. This tour covers the prison’s history from its opening in 1858 through its closure in 2002. Hear fascinating stories of prison life, notable inmates, escapes, and the evolution of the site. We will stop for lunch at your own cost before heading back. Trip fee includes admission and transportation. The registration deadline is October 16.
