Do you have a child who can balance a bike, but needs to build skills and confidence before heading out on real streets? This free class aims to teach the basics of bike handling, starting/stopping, scanning, signaling, road safety. Any student who can confidentially balance is encouraged to participate. This class will be taught by local physical education teachers and League of American Bicyclists League-Certified instructors. Bikes will be provided for the duration of the class for any student who needs one, but you are encouraged to bring your own! Free helmets (to keep) will also be provided to any participant needing one. Students should bring a water bottle and a snack.
