Description
This 8 hour does not replace the Lifesaving - Bronze Cross course, it is designed to serve as a refresher of critical course skills and information. This course is intended for candidates who have already taken Bronze Cross but did not pass the course.
Day 1: Review
Day 2: Exam
Completion Criteria:
• Attend and participate in 100 % of the course.
• Successfully demonstrate competency in required skills, activities and final evaluation.
Pre-Course Requirements:
• Bronze Medallion (Participants must show the following prerequisite to the instructor at the first class).
Next Lifesaving Level:
• 15 years of age: National Lifeguard (NL), Lifesaving Instructor (LSI), Swim for Life Instructor
100% PARTICIPATION AND ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED

Participants will be required to complete an endurance swim of 400 meters in 11 minutes for successful completion of this course.

The following items are required in order to participate in this course: • 1 CPR pocket mask with a 1-way valve• 1 whistle (recommended Fox 40)These items may be purchased at this facility or acquired independently.
