Learn to grow specialty mushrooms in your backyard. Make your own maple syrup from local Manitoba maple and birch trees. Hands-on demonstrations will be included. Learn how to inoculate Shiitake mushroom spawn into oak logs for annual mushroom crops. Learn maple tree identification, tapping and making maple syrup in your backyard. For those interested, taps at $2.50 and mushroom grow kits at $65.00 each (cash or cheque only) will be available for sale.Instructor: Ken Fosty, Certified Arborist.
