Description
The Swim for Life Instructor program is a 24-hour course that trains participants to teach the Swim for Life and Swim Patrol Programs.
This program includes classroom and water activities - 100% attendance and participation are required.
Completion Criteria:
• Attend and participate in 100 % of the course.
• Successfully demonstrate competency in required skills, activities and final evaluation.
Pre-Course Requirements:
• 15 years of age by final day of course or exam date.

The Swim for Life Instructor kit (approximately $115.50 - non-refundable), Canadian Lifesaving manual (approximate cost $ 47.25 -non-refundable) and a Binders and manual are available for sale at the location the course is being held.
Awards are mailed to successful participants by the Lifesaving Society. Certification of this award is for 2 years.

The following items are required in order to participate in this course: • 1 CPR pocket mask with a 1-way valve• 1 whistle (recommended Fox 40)These items may be purchased at this facility or acquired independently.
