Bring your dog for a swim to close out the season!

Spend a summer day splashing, playing and making memories with your four-legged friend! Doggie Days of Summer is a chance to enjoy some quality time with your dog while meeting other Winnipeg pet owners and their furry friends.
You and your dog will have a one-hour time slot a Bruce Park Wading Pool to cool off, have some fun and enjoy a dog-loving atmosphere. Grab your leash, bring your best friend and get ready to make a splash!

The Required Parameters for Safety in the Water are as follows:
1. Entrance to wading pools will be at the gate. The gate will monitored by Animal Services.2. Washroom facilities located by wading pool. 3. Humans can accompany their dogs in the water if they are wanting them to get used to the water. 4. Dogs owners must be 18 years of age or older and be present. 5. No children under 16 to be inside the pool area. 6. No prong, choke, or training collars. 7. One dog maximum per handler. 8. Aggressive dogs, dogs in heat, or dogs under 4 months of age will not be allowed. 9. Dogs that do not swim well should have life-jackets. 10. In the event of lightning/thunder, the event will end, with no alternative date(s) set. 11. The primary responsibility of the Recreation staff is to ensure the safety of those persons present.
